Svenja Schulze, Federal Minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, visited the Neubeckum site of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions today. She heard about new products and solutions from thyssenkrupp for the sustainable cement plant of the future and discussed ways to promote and drive the decarbonization of industry. Cement production is not only one of the world’s most energy-intensive processes, it also accounts for around seven percent of global CO2 emissions.
