The polysius® Belt Conveyor is a versatile and efficient way to transport materials over long distances. Our conveyors are designed to handle a wide range of materials, including bulk materials, powders, and other industrial goods. The length of a polysius® Belt Conveyor can range from short distances of approx. 5m to long distances of up approx. 1000m.
In addition to the varying lengths, the polysius® Belt Conveyor also comes in different belt widths. These range from 650 mm up to 3600 mm and, depending on the model and application, allow a wide range of conveying capacities from 50 t/h up to more than 2000 t/h. This makes them suitable for both small and large scale operations.
One of the key features of the polysius® Belt Conveyor is its tensioning system. Our conveyor can be equipped with a screw take-up, a horizontal or vertical gravity take-up, or special tensioning devices, depending on the specific requirements of the application. These tensioning devices help to ensure that the belt is properly tensioned and aligned, which helps to reduce wear and prolong the life of the conveyor.
Moreover, you can choose between two different types of belts: fabric ply or steel cord. The choice of the belt type will depend on the specific requirements of the application.
Our belt conveyors are designed according to DIN Standard. But “CEMA light” is also possible. This means that the wear parts like idlers and belts are according CEMA-Standard, so that spare parts can also be purchased on the local market.

They should not only reliably convey large quantities of raw materials, but also at temperature differences between -35 and +55 degrees Celsius and in very impassable terrain.
