Our polysius® additive and corrective storage solutions come in four different versions:

  • belt stacker and portal reclaimer combination

  • belt stacker and side reclaimer combination

  • tripper car and side reclaimer combination

  • ripper car and portal reclaimer combination

For decades, thyssenkrupp Polysius has been supplying suitable machines for additive and corrective storages for large quantities of bulk materials like limestone, iron ore, bauxite, gypsum, slag, coal, etc.

Our stacking machines, the belt stacker and the tripper car, store the different materials according to the CONSHELL stacking method. The standard machine for stacking is the belt stacker. The tripper car is running in the roof structure of the hall and is used in the case of materials that do not tend to generate a lot of dust when discharged.

Laterally-reclaiming machines such as our portal reclaimers with one or two booms, our side reclaimers or semi-portal reclaimers are used for reclaiming the materials. Due to the very low amount of enclosed space, the portal reclaimer with two booms is the most favorable version in relation to the total capital cost.

  • optional wall cleaning device to increase the live capacity of the different piles

  • outside mounted lifetime lubricated chain guide rollers to reduce loads during operation as well to increase lifetime and availability

  • easy changeable wear parts of the scoops

  • automatic lubrication system for the scraper chain

  • discharge chute with integrated impact table to protect the discharge belt conveyor

  • no counterweight and therefore a reduced space requirement

  • available for high reclaiming rates and wide piles

  • straight running monitoring system

  • optional wall cleaning device to increase the live capacity of the different piles

  • outside mounted lifetime lubricated chain guide rollers to reduce loads during operation as well to increase lifetime and availability

  • easy changeable wear parts of the scoops

  • automatic lubrication system for the scraper chain
